Recipe Collection: Sweet Tea Vinaigrette

Warmer temperatures call for lighter culinary fare. Add a kick to your favorite salad with our sweet tea vinaigrette. The light dressing packs flavor and features one of our favorite southern staples, sweet tea! It’s the perfect complement to your spring dining table!

1/2 cup sweet tea reduction
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
2 teaspoons honey
2 teaspoons creole mustard
1 cup olive oil
few sprigs thyme

Make sweet tea according to package directions. Pour tea into a sauce pot and reduce to a cup and a half. In a blender, mix sweet tea reduction, apple cider vinegar, honey and creole mustard. Blend until combined. Slowly add olive oil until emulsified.

At 1885 Grill, we serve our sweet tea vinaigrette over fresh baby spinach, caramelized onions, hardboiled eggs, and bacon for the perfect light lunch or pair it with grilled fish or chicken for a hearty dinner.
