Step Over Cocktails, We’re Ready for a Mocktail

Dry January doesn’t have to be boring and leave you sipping a water with lemon and skipping alcohol doesn’t mean you have to skip the cocktail flavor. Raise your glass to these delicious, refreshing, and sophisticated mocktails.

Mango Mule

4-5 cucumber slices
1 oz. honey syrup
1.5 oz. mango puree
1.5 oz. fresh lime juice
1.5 oz. ginger beer

Muddle the cucumber and honey syrup in a cocktail shaker. Add mango puree, lime juice and ice and shake well. Strain into a mug and top with ginger beer and stir.

Cucumber Gimlet

1.5 oz. club soda
4-5 cucumber slices, muddled
1 oz. fresh lime juice
1 oz. simple syrup

Combine all ingredients and shake with ice. Serve in a rocks glass over ice and serve with a cucumber slice.

Cucumber Coconut Cooler

4 cups coconut water
2 cucumber slices, thinly sliced
½ cup lime juice
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup mint leaves, chopped

Combine all ingredients and chill for 1 to 2 hours before serving.

Lavender Lemonade

6 cups water
½ cup honey
5 tbsp dried lavender
1 cup fresh lemon juice, strained

Bring water and honey to a boil over medium- high heat. Use a mortar and pestle to crush the lavender. Add the lavender to the honey water mixture and remove from heat. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours. Strain and stir in lemon juice. Serve over ice.

Blueberry Smash

7-8 blueberries
1 rosemary sprig, stripped
1 oz. honey syrup
1 oz. fresh lemon juice, strained
4 oz. sparkling water

Muddle blueberries, rosemary, and honey in a cocktail shaker. Add lemon juice and shake well with ice. Strain into a tall ice filled glass and top with sparkling water.

Wildcat

1 cup blueberries
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
1 lemon, juiced

Add blueberries, sugar and water to a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Strain and separate the liquid from solids. Fill a glass with ice and add 1 oz. of blueberry syrup and add lemon juice. Top with water.

Tutti Frutti

1 oz. strawberry juice
½ oz. lime juice
3 oz. pineapple juice
Club soda

Combine lime and pineapple juice in a cocktail shaker and shake well. Strain into a highball glass filled with ice. Top with club soda and garnish with a strawberry.

Apple Butter New Fashioned

3 oz. chai tea
2 tsp. apple butter
2 dashes Angostura bitters

Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake well. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with an orange slice.
